Among the many festivals in India, Diwali stands out as one of the most popular and eagerly awaited festivals. It is celebrated throughout the country with great pomp and show. The festival enlightens the triumph of good over evil and is celebrated with much grandeur.

This five-day-long festival starts with Dhanteras, followed by Narak Chaturdashi, Diwali or Lakshmi Puja, Govardhan Puja and Bhai Dooj. The lights twinkle across every road and window, displaying Diwali’s glory to the rest of the world. And through lanterns, earthen lamps, and fairy lights, homes eliminate darkness.

Diwali

This day is mostly celebrated in northern India as the day Lord Rama, his wife Sita, brother Lakshman, and Hanuman returned to Ayodhya after slaying Ravana. People light clay pots called diyas, decorate their homes with lights, and pray for a healthy & prosperous year. South Indians, on the other hand, commemorate the festival as the day Lord Krishna destroyed the demon Narakasura

“Diwali – The Festival of Lights” is a glimpse into the meaning of light we see in candles, fireworks, and lanterns of this festival.

Here’s how team CollPoll celebrated Diwali!

Welcoming Light, Love & Laughter!

Diwali traditions and festivities differ from state to state. Even so, the very essence of celebrating life’s positive aspects remains the same. It was a joyous and happy festival for our team and we wish the same for you.

No matter how little the light is, it can still light up the whole world, and bring us out of dark agonies. May the light of Diwali play such a role in your life. The CollPoll family wishes you a prosperous Diwali and a bright year ahead!

Happy Diwali! ✨
